新品是在尼加拉瓜的埃斯特利地區(qū)的HVC雪茄廠新廠卷制的,，該工廠去年開(kāi)始啟用的。
In 2021, HVC Cigars celebrated a decade in the cigar business by releasing the HVC 10th Anniversary, which came only in a Toro. Now, it will be joined by a second size, a robusto, made with a slightly different wrapper. Retailers can expect it to start shipping the second week of May.
Named after its thick ring gauge, the HVC 10th Anniversary 54 measures 5 inches by 54 ring gauge, and has a suggested retail price of $13.90. Its all-Nicaraguan blend consists of a Corojo ’99 wrapper, Criollo ’98 binder and filler combination of Corojo ’99, Criollo ’98 and Corojo 2012 tobacco. While the Toro (6 1/2 by 50) is rolled with a claro cover leaf, the 54 is draped in a slightly darker wrapper that HVC classifies as rosado.
According to brand owner Reinier Lorenzo, the tobaccos used for the 10th Anniversary 54 were grown by Aganorsa Leaf.
The new size is made at HCV’s new Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, which opened last year.
HVC 10th Anniversary 54 will ship in boxes of 10.
